Oasis on the Beach is located on Playa Zancudo (map), a 5-kilometer peninsula just 12 miles north of the Panama border. On one side is the spacious Golfo Dulce, which showcases the Osa Peninsula off our coast. On the other side is Rio Coto Colorado, a scenic river where many species of birds, monkeys, and other wildlife abound.

Playa Zancudo enjoys pleasant weather year ‘round thanks to cooling ocean breezes. There is actually only a few degrees difference between August and January. Native Mangrove trees are in abundance, and the unrivaled biodiversity of Corcovado National Park is just an hour's boat ride away. It's just a 45-minute flight from San Jose to Golfito where a boat taxi will bring you to your beachside cabina at Oasis on the Beach. We are also accessible via car or bus.
